The Atlas is an external mass storage device available in capacities up to 16TB. The Atlas can be attached to Tempest DVRs to allow storage and playback of months or years of high quality video. The Atlas allows for up to 40 hot swappable hard drives, and can issue email or alarm notifications in the event of hard drive failure. The drives can be configured with RAID 5 level redundancy, which protects your video data even in the event of hard drive failure.

Different models of the Atlas are available in 2TB, 4TB, 10TB, and 16TB capacities. Atlas units can be daisy chained together, allowing for unlimited storage capacity.
